Like many hospitality venues across the U.K., family-run business Claremont Pier has been busy during the past year making sure it can still serve customers in one way or another. Bacon rolls on the beach at Christmas from its busy kiosk, fresh coffee and snacks to accompany a stroll on the beach, Easter special hot chocolate with whipped cream and mini eggs. 

Situated on the Wellington Esplanade in Lowestoft, the Claremont Pier has been the setting for hundreds of thousands of family memories since it was built in 1903. Now boasting modern facilities including an award-winning restaurant, a family-orientated amusement arcade and luxurious casino area, Claremont Pier’s management wanted an EPoS system that would keep pace with the Pier’s growth and popularity. 

Claremont Pier worked with Eastern Cash Registers (ECR) to install 6 new OXHOO ZEO touch screens. 

“The Zeo’s are a fantastic space saving & robust touch screen, with its integrated printer they continue to be our No 1 best seller again for the second year,” said Mandy Austin of ECR. “Our team worked with OXHOO and they delivered an excellent installation.”

The ZEO adapts to every space and is the perfect choice for the ambitious team at Claremont Pier. 

“We have big plans for the Pier, including refurbishing it to its original length and glory,” said Ben Llewellyn, Claremont Pier Director. “We want to work with an EPoS provider who understood our mission and matched our enthusiasm.”

The ZEO is available in black or white to fit any interior setting. The first terminal in the OXHOO range with a removable built-in printer, the ZEO is the solution for an optimised space saving.
