MEET THE TEAM
Joe Cummuskey
Business Development Manager.
- What does your OXHOO day look like?
Starting at 8:30, I review what I’ve got outstanding or tasks that I have to do for the day ahead, followed by making call to existing customers and potential customer making sure there needs are fulfilled and if there is anything I can help with. In normal circumstances I would be on the road meeting customers and showing them products.
- How did you get your start in technology/PoS?
I finished university and needed a job, fancied trying out sales and it so happened to be within the POS industry which was really interesting and I found I took to this quickly and haven’t looked back.
- Any interests/hobbies outside of the office?
I’m a big football and golf fan but love most sports! I play football and golf and am an Arsenal season ticket holder.
- What are your thoughts on the future of PoS?
I believe there will be a lot more contactless tech after the COVID-19 crisis, also I believe there will be more mobile based POS unit within both the retail and hospitality sectors
- What is the most important quality that a Business Development Manager can bring to the job?
I believe that the most important quality that a business development manager should have is communication and interpersonal Skills to be able to communicate well with existing new clients.
