Although National Apprenticeship Week may have taken place last week, at OXHOO we believe celebrating apprentices shouldn’t be limited to just one week in the calendar.

We’re delighted to officially welcome Whitley, our new Apprentice in Finance, to the team. Whitley joins us at an exciting time for the business and will be supporting our finance function across reporting, reconciliation and day-to-day financial operations — gaining valuable hands-on experience while building a strong foundation for a future career in finance.

National Apprenticeship Week is all about recognising the impact apprentices make within organisations and the opportunities apprenticeships create for individuals to develop meaningful, long-term careers. While the spotlight may have been on apprentices across the UK last week, our commitment to nurturing emerging talent continues all year round.

Reflecting on Whitley’s appointment, Clare Jackson, OXHOO UK Head of Operations and Finance, commented: “We’re incredibly proud to welcome Whitley to OXHOO. Apprenticeships are a powerful way to develop talent while bringing fresh perspectives into the business.

Sarah Appleby, OXHOO UK’s Managing Director, commented: “National Apprenticeship Week may have just passed, but our focus on investing in people and creating opportunities is ongoing at OXHOO, we are delighted to have Whitley on board and are excited for her journey ahead”

At OXHOO, we see apprenticeships as more than a training pathway — they’re an investment in the future of our industry. We look forward to seeing Whitley grow in confidence and expertise in the months ahead, and to continuing to champion apprentices across our business long after National Apprenticeship Week has ended.
